The aim is that employers in Satakunta will recruit more international students. The aim is also to attract more international students to stay in Satakunta.

Work & study

Satakunta is working hard on international recruitment
development. New Work & Study in West Coast Finland -
website presents the region's work and study opportunities and provides information for both professionals and companies interested in international recruitment. Should I stay
can be found in the section aimed at employers.
The website has been developed in cooperation with the Satakunta ELY Centre,
Satakunta TE Office, the Satakunta Federation and the Pori and Rauma
and the cities of Rauma and Rauma.

Coming in 2024

In 2024, project activities will focus on the following for businesses in the region
outreach - marketing activities will aim to support
employers' readiness to recruit international talent in an increasingly
more agile and confident. Businesses will also be provided with information on
and guidance on how to use the Youragent.fi service.
Networking with actors in Satakunta will continue
in the framework of the TalentBoost operational programme.
SAMK's employment of international students
services supporting the employment of students in the labour market will be developed
developed in a variety of ways.
